Medical Oncology usually works in conjunction with Surgical Oncology or Radiation Oncology to give the best clinical outcomes.

Our Medical Oncologists have special training in diagnosing and treating cancer in adults using chemotherapy, hormonal therapy, biological therapy, and targeted therapy. A medical oncologist often is the main health care provider for someone who has cancer.

 In addition to Chemotherapy, the department also runs protocols and specializes in out-patient chemotherapy. Our medical oncology service includes treatments for solid tumours, specialized outpatient chemotherapy with chemo ports and haematological neoplasm in adults and children.
