Intensive Neuro Care Unit

Neuro-ICU in our hospital is established in response to the need for more specialized knowledge in the growing techniques to recognize and address neurological disorders.

In general, a patient with any of the given below conditions is admitted to a neuro-ICU.

• post-operative brain tumor
• ischemic stroke
• subarachnoid hemorrhage
• traumatic brain injury
• intracranial hemorrhage
• subdural hematoma
• myasthenia gravis
• spinal trauma
• encephalitis
• meningitis and other central nervous system infections

The Unit  of neurointensive care  has the best of   neurological tools such as electroencephalography, which are added to the more typical understandings of ventilator mechanics, cardiac telemetry and intensive blood pressure monitoring and other techniques more typical of a general ICU.

 The staff of our neuro-ICU is well trained in special examination techniques to gather critical information.

 Our Neuro-ICU is very multi-disciplinary in nature. Neurologists, neurosurgeons, intensive care specialists, and anesthesiologists often work very closely with teams of highly trained nurses, respiratory therapists, nutritional experts, and more.
